Temecula Valley-based Brookside Winery makes this nonvintage blend, a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. Moderately light in alcohol, it nonetheless imparts deep, dark fruit and a leathery juiciness, with Zin taking over on the finish.
