Viu 1 is pure Malbec, and this rendition is one of the more ripe and jammy versions on record. The color is pitch black, the nose is saturated and fully extracted, and the feel is almost syrupy. Flavors of prune and blackberry finish heavy and oaky, with a lasting note of raisin. Tasted three times with mostly consistent results.
