Expensive for this varietal, and also for Napa Valley. Pippin apple and spearmint aromas lead to apple and citrus flavors. It's very dry, with somewhat high acidity, a steely wine with similarities to Fumé Blanc. There's a tart, sour finish that suggests sushi. —S.H.
