The grapes are Carignan and Merlot. Raim translates as “grape” in the Catalan dialect spoken in some parts of Sardinia. The aromas are light cherry plus some Brettanomyces. On the palate, you experience a full-bodied, well-balanced structure with some rough tannins. The finish is long, showing cherry and earth components. An interesting wine with grilled meats.
