From a grape that's rarely planted in the Central Coast, this bottling shows loads of earthy aromas, from wet soil to crushed gravel, as well as tight blackberry, dried dill and white pepper notes. There's a touch of ripeness to the palate, with tobacco-laced red cherry and blueberry fruit, gravelly minerality and a firm, tannic structure.
