Disappointing after the success of last year's version, Kato's 2009 is a lightweight Sauvignon Blanc with herbal, bell-peppery component. There's a tart stridency on the finish that will serve it well with some dishes, less so with others. || A flamboyantly pungent, leafy bouquet is followed by flavors of crushed tomato leaf, green tomato and hints of ripe stone fruit.
