Starts off with a real blast of grass, hay, anise and other aggressive notes, with just a hint of softer melon. It's pretty powerful in the mouth, too. Citrus flavors are spicy and penetrating in this dry, structured wine. It has an extra dimension of complexity and elegance that make it a fine dinner wine. —S.H.
