Winemaker Chris Pisani used small American oak barrels to age this well-made, generous wine, which opens in a sweetness of vanilla bean, grilled peach and toasted oak. Richness and concentration make friends with a decent level of minerality and plenty of length, the wine made in a full-bodied style.
