The second wine of Quinta do Vesúvio, Pombal is still concentrated and dense from low yielding vines. Layers of juicy plum flavors and acidity gain strength and power from the dense, sweet tannins. It will need to age a few years, so drink from 2017. || Named after the Pombal, or dovecote at Vesúvio, this is a soft, ready-to-drink wine. It has attractive acidity and black currant flavors. Layers of tannins offer support while not suggesting any long-term aging. Drink from 2015.
