First, second and third nosings all result in the same finding: that this Cava smells a lot like lettuce. In the mouth, scattered citrus and apple flavors are acceptable, and while the mouthfeel is fine, it just doesn't hit the spot or trigger much excitement. || Toast, butterscotch and oxidized apple aromas precede a heavy, nearly overripe palate loaded down with sticky apple, nectarine and banana.
