From a high-elevation site farmed by the producer, Goat Trek is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Zinfandel, an unusual comingling of different personalities that manage to get along. A succulence of red currant, raspberry and dried herb complements a crispness of acidity that surprises. Big-bodied, it's also refined and graceful.
