Made using Ciliegiolo, a native grape, this boasts obvious oak, coffee and tobacco leaf aromas. The dense palate offers rich plum and espresso flavors. It'd be interesting to see this aged in large neutral casks instead of barriques to have the complexity but less obvious wood sensations that muffle the grape.
