From 100% estate-grown fruit, it spent more than a year in 100% French oak and is dense in baked strawberry, black cherry and a richness of herb. The grip of fruit is balanced by moderate acidity. The grapes are organically certified. || Dry and tart in Carneros acidity, this has ripe, forward flavors of raspberry jam, cola and spice. It's pretty strong in mushroom and barnyard funkiness, which may turn some people off.
