Whiffs of smoke and struck flint blow off with aeration, revealing bright orange and lemon peel notes on this off-dry Spätlese. It's broad and a bit luscious on the palate, with intense, dusty minerality and a spray of fresh herbs and lemon-pith notes that lend a bristling astringency.
