Everything one could want in a Zin: dark, rich color and very pleasing dark fruit aromas followed by a mouthful of juicy blackberry and clove flavors and rich, dusty tannins. The whole package, 89% zin with 11% Petite Sirah all from the Dalton Vineyard, is nicely balanced, seriously rich and ends with a proper earthy kick on the finish.
