This polished wine is accented with small amounts of Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Juicy, spicy and leathery, it has a smoothness to the texture, the tannins well integrated and permissive of the plummy fruit. The finish has a smoky, mocha tinge.
