A 100% Zin from a warm site planted in 1893 and currently owned by the folks behind nearby Bella Winery, this is a broad, bombastic expression of the variety. Near-syrupy in plum and dusty blackberry, it has wafts of rose and anise that give a floral edge, keeping it from going too far. Soft and linear, it'a a wine to be enjoyed slowly, with meaty, hearty food.
