This caramel- and red-fruit-flavored wine is fresh with red berries and balanced acidity. A food style of rosé, it's round with just a light tang of orange zest at the end. || This shows considerable wood flavors, giving a smooth, creamy character, spiced with some toast and ripe, dense Sémillon. It's big, a definite food wine, showing great style and quality above its simple Bordeaux appellation station.
