This complex blend of Syrah, Touriga Franca, Alicante Bouschet and Trincadeira is very successful. It works because the tannins are so well integrated with the big, ripe fruit, and because the structure is firm without being too dominant. It is ready to drink now, the exuberant fruits filling the mouth, the wood a sub-layer adding balance.
