From a unique vineyard site high above the Santa Maria Valley comes this bottling by the Fess Parker family that shows white pepper, tart elderberry, a touch of tar and dried herbs on the somewhat restrained nose. There is decent herbal lift to the black cassis and blackberry fruit, with hints of lavender and dried tarragon.
