Sheltered in the Broglio stream valley, the eponymous cru is considered among the best in Serralunga d'Alba. This is a mineral-driven Barolo that will not appeal to fruit bomb enthusiasts. Instead, the focus here is on elegance, linearity and smoky subtones. Pencil shavings and campfire ash form a tannic finish that is tight as a shell but smooth as a pearl.
