It took a couple of minutes for the smelly chemical aromas to disipate, but afterwards it showed a good deal of ripe fruit, earth and smoked meat. On the palate it proved to be soft and chunky, with most of the flavors at the front, and although the flavors were not as intense in the mid palate, they did return and the wine ended with a pleasant medium finish.
