Intriguing notes of ivy, citrus and juniper are hinted at on the nose of this straw-coloured fizz. The vinous palate continues in this vein, giving more of a white-wine vibe than that of an austere sparkler. If you are serving food, this is your wine, thanks to its sufficient backbone and character to counter anything, and a long, fruity but dry, rich finish.
