A gorgeous wine, dark and complex, with assertive leather and licorice spice throughout the boysenberry and bramble character. Touches of graham cracker, tobacco leaf and spice unfold in the mouth. Lush and decadent, with a lingering chocolate-raspberry finish. Enjoyable now, it could show more balance and finesse in 2–3 years.
