Floral and fruity to open the show, and then there's plenty of oak and resin aromas coming next. The palate is tight, acid rich and woody, with solid black fruit flavors along with toasted oak notes and coconut. Juicy, fresh and healthy, but quite oaky. || An odd bird on the nose, where floral, lavender aromas replace the normal set of cassis and berry. In the mouth, it's so tannic that it's like chewing nails; the flavors, therefore, seem choppy and hard, like roasted blackberry and sugar beets. Very woody and men…
