Inviting aromas of tobacco, cedar, vanilla and rooty blackberry are a high point on this slightly hollow Rioja reserva. Plum, blackberry and citric flavors are short and tart, while the finish is light in step, with juicy acidity. This is solid for a 2008, a notoriously difficult vintage. Drink through 2024.
