Lots of oak on this five-year-old Syrah. Too much, in fact, although it may be that the cherry-berry fruit is simply dropping out. Either way, it's a fairly simple wine, dry and tart and spicy. Drink now. || This has intense acids and tannins that make it feel a bit rustic.
