Lovely, hazelnut-scented creaminess signals the use of very well-handled oak. The palate has the same attractive, soft smokiness and a beautiful midpalate texture which accentuates a certain oiliness. This is cut by luminous, lemony freshness and makes for a very fluid, delicious but unusual white.
