The vineyard is in Rutherford, and this 100% Cabernet does show the dusty tannins for which the commune is known. It's also very ripe and exuberant, with tiers of black and red cherry pie, currant and oak flavors, as well as a delicious, earthy note of green olives. Forward now, but should gain in the bottle over the next 10 years.
