Rich and ripe, this has a plushness of red currant and cassis counterbalanced by blackberry on the underbelly. A well-hewn texture leans leathery, with seasonings of black pepper giving it a piquant and lengthy finish. || There's something Chablis-like in the stony minerality that marks this Chardonnay. But at the same time, it's sweet in orange, peach, green apple and golden mango flavors. A rich, satisfying Chardonnay for drinking now.
