There's a green, perhaps slightly unripe quality to this Chianti Classico Riserva that is backed by black fruit, spice and tar. You'll also encounter a sharp, smoky quality that gives it personality and staying power. 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are added to the blend.
