This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenère seems to do better in cooler vintages. In this hot year, the wine is soupy and sticky in feel but herbal in aromas. Flavors of cherry and plum are oaky and medicinal, while the finish is flabby and hollow. This is still good but it has its issues.
