Deep ruby in the glass, this wine has a nose of fruits of the wood and smoke. It offers a sophisticated medley of fruit and savory flavors, in particular blackberry, raspberry, tobacco and leather. Firm tannins coat the mouth but do not overpower the palate, allowing for a surprisingly bright finish.
