This is an impressive effort, especially considering it is the winery's mass-production cuvée. All in proportion, it's built upon an acid/mineral base, with tangy, just-ripe berry fruit. It feels quite delicate, yet has the persistence and structure of a more substantial wine. Aged for 10 months in one-quarter new French oak, it's worth tucking a few bottles away for a long-term look.
