This ambitious wine is bold in every aspect, from the deep, deep color, to the dark chocolate and cherry aromas to the rich, almost thick blackberry flavors and very firm texture. It has the variety's typical assertive tartness plus a good layer of tannin, but matches those with ripe flavors.
