Deliciously drinkable now, this has soft, pliant tannins and a melting mouthfeel framing complex flavors of black cherry and raspberry, grilled Canadian bacon, black pepper and sandalwood. It's thoroughly dry, and its gamy quality makes it an especially good companion for lamb dishes.
