This 100% varietal aged 22 months in French oak (22% new) needs time to open up. Once it does, it brings notes of dried herbs, dark coffee, cherry, plum and pencil eraser. It's elegant in style while showing good concentration to the chocolate and cherry flavors, supported by lightly chalky tannins.
