This dry, full-bodied Syrah is impressively packed with blackberry, currant, crispy bacon and black pepper flavors. On the downside is an overripeness suggesting raisins, with the tannic bitterness of raisin skins. Drink now. || Barbera can be made well, but this one isn't even particularly Barbera-esque.
