This Rhone-inspired specialist, who also does a fine job with Zin, shows both sides of the coin in this Rhône variety that in California is more often associated and blended with Zin. Elusive red berry takes on layers of flavors in the glass, becoming densely mouth-coating and intensely rich on the leathery finish.
