Here is a very attractive approach to Sangiovese Grosso with equal parts fruit (cherry, blackberry and cassis) matched by equal parts spice. There's a thickness and an overall integrity here that gives the wine both staying power and endurance. Pair it with Cornish game hen or roast pork with fennel seed stuffing.
