Intensely perfumed and very spicy, with a core of dryness in the richness. The wine feels weighty, with some pepper, honey and sweet fruits; very full in the mouth. || A soft, open style of Riesling, just hinting at a steely core. It has perfumed white fruits, a youthful texture of apple skins, followed by ripe acidity. It needs a few more months in bottle to bring it into balance. || It takes a while for the full effect of the Gewürztraminer spice to show on this reticent wine.
