Opaque to the point that it looks like syrup. It smells severely of black olive, juniper and green herbs. It feels tannic and tastes fully roasted and herbal, with bitter chocolate on the finish. This is big and bulky; the fruit takes a back seat to the wine's herbal, prickly side. Carmenère-based, with smaller parts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.
