Dark and roasted scents introduce this firm, tannic, rather muscular Syrah. There is a citrusy acidity underscoring the mix of mineral, earth and brambly berry, along with a slight suggestion of bacon fat. This has the fine-tuned structure to age for another half decade or longer.
