Dark in color, this has an inviting mix of herb, spice, black plum and roasted berry aromas. It shows good balance and saturation across the palate, with staunch tannins and a creamy feel. Flavors of black fruits, tobacco and vanilla are generous, while the finish is not at all angular, choppy or challenging. Drink now–2014.
