Sedàra, an easy-going Nero d'Avola from the dynamic Donnafugata winery in Marsala, Sicily, is not its usual self this year. Aromas of earth, red beet and root eclipse the purity of the fruit. The wine has ripe, gritty tannins and palate-cleaning power on the finish.
