There is nothing shy about this wine, but the ripeness and high alcohol are beautifully handled. It remains precise and focused, with deep black-cherry, cola and coffee flavors. The tannins are fine grained, and the acids are sufficient enough to give it a frame and the prospect of aging for up to a decade.
