This is a hearty Meritage employing all five red Bordeaux varieties. The color is black and the fruit equally dark and rich, offering muscular tannins around rich notes of blackberry, cedar and herb. || The Cabernet grapes, which account for 80% of the blend, bring intense, nervy black currant flavors, but Petit Verdot also expresses itself in the form of violets.
