This virtually 50-50 blend comes across as a bit simple and chunky, but well made. It's sturdy enough to stand up to burgers and the like, offering modest cassis and berry fruit and a dusty finish. || Barossa doesn't yield many Best Buys, but this one features aromatically complex notes of pepper and spice atop stylish blackberry and blueberry fruit. There's some warmth, but also a pleasantly expansive mouthfeel. Drink now.
