In addition to the blackberry base, minty herbs, leather and turned loam on the nose, this bottling offers a strong woody character, with cedar, sandalwood and pine needle aromas. The very dry black-currant fruit is awash in flavors of dill, savory black pepper and black olive. Tannins are sticky but not overly aggressive.
