This ripe, attractive wine leads with notes of red and black cherries, dried sage, crushed violets and pipe smoke on the fragrant, herbal nose. Once sipped, it's light and lofty for such a dense-smelling wine, with well-spiced cherry flavors and easy-to-enjoy tannins on the palate.
